Silver City Gun Club

Work Hour Requirements

First year members of the Silver City Gun Club are required to contribute eight hours of time for the calendar year. This is mandatory.
Failure to do so will result in loss of membership. After the first year, four hours per year are required.

Second year and up members who do not put in their full four hours will incur a charge of $100. These members may opt out of the four hour requirement for a fee of $100.

Members who are 62 years of age on January 1st of a given year are exempt from work hours for the rest of their membership. Members who have medical issues and feel that
they cannot perform the work hours can see one of the club's officers to discuss a medical exemption. Members of the executive committee are exempt from work hours.

Members can put in work hours at any time. There are lots of things to do when you are at the club. Stacking wood, filling the wood bin, cleaning the ashes from inside
and around the stove, cleaning the rest room, mowing the lawn, raking leaves, cleaning the club and grounds in general. Be sure to log in your work hours in the book.
